Created in the seventies under Adolphe DEHER influence, the
Maritime Transportation Company (MTC) DEHER is a family
company with a human size.
During the eigthies, the enterprise acquired 2 ships "LYNNDY"
and "LA ROCHE PERCEE" to cope with the opening up of LES
SAINTES archipelago.
With the intention to developp an economic and touristic
activity in LES SAINTES, a new ship named "ANTOINETTE", has
been acquired by the Society in the nineties.
The sealink between GUADELOUPE (TROIS-RIVIERES) and LES
SAINTES became regular. The MTC DEHER began an island
"transportation public services" with the signature of an
agreement with the local authorities.
To cope with the increasing of LES SAINTES islands tourism
activity in the half of the nineties, a new ship, "MISS
GUDELOUPE",has been built in order to propose departures from
POINTE-A-PITRE.
In 2002, due to a major reorganization, the Company
concentrated main part of its activity on departures to
LES SAINTES from the south ended of GUADELOUPE.
Nowaday, our Company operates 2 fast ships between
TROIS-RIVIERES, BASSE-TERRE and TERRE-DE-HAUT (LES SAINTES).
